SCC Leeds has once again secured funding for a Coordinator. We're looking for a committed and organised campaigner with a passion for climate campaigning to coordinate SCCL's activities over the coming year. Could you fit the bill?

About the position

Stop Climate Chaos Leeds Coordinator
Part-time, 7.5 hours per week, fixed-term 52 week contract
£15000 pro rata per annum, £3000 actual per annum

Are you able to plan and deliver grassroots campaigning projects? Are you excited by the prospect of working for a local volunteer-led campaigning group, with all the opportunities and challenges that presents? If so, an exciting opportunity exists to join Stop Climate Chaos Leeds in the role of Coordinator.

Working at the heart of SCCL, your key responsibilities will be to provide comprehensive support to the running of the group and to take the lead in coordinating its various campaigning projects.

Equally comfortable working on your own as working in a team of volunteers, you will be able to work effectively in a time-pressured environment, have a working knowledge of key climate change issues, and experience of campaigning and basic administration. You will also be effective in communicating to a wide range of audiences in both verbal and written form, and possess some experience in media work.
