Donate to Tidal

We need your money.

Phew, now that’s out there. Tidal is working to create a monster of a global justice movement in Leeds. One that can take on the big issues of our times… poverty, climate change, trade, tax justice. We have the incredible vision of Leeds rising up together and making massive, lasting change that creates a more just world. If that sounds like something you would like to be part of, then we need your help.

Half of our funding comes from ordinary people like you. Their incredible generosity keeps us going. In order to become financially sustainable we need to increase our monthly income by £300. That sounds like a lot, but think about it like this: that’s six people giving £50 a month, ten people giving £30 a month, thirty people giving £10 a month or sixty people giving £5 a month. Now that’s possible!

If you would like to become one of our treasured, absolutely incredible donors, get in touch at donate[at]leedstidal.org and we’ll get you set up.

Alternatively, Local Giving offers an easy and secure way to donate online whether its a regular gift by a monthly Direct Debit from as little as £5 or a one off gift, both can be made on the site.

Currently, Local Giving’s Grow Your Tenner campaign means that your gift will be doubled, so £10 will be doubled to £20 and if you sign up to donate £10 a month it will be matched for the first three months!

Donations given to us through Local Giving are also eligible for Gift Aid, which means that we receive an extra 25% on top of what you donate. Gift Aid is of no extra cost to you but the extra 25% significantly helps us.

Don’t have the cash but want to help? Why not organise a fundraiser?! Lots of people have helped out Tidal by walking, running and doing all sorts of things over the years. To find out more information check out our fundraising ideas page.

‘Tidal recognise that for us in Leeds to take action on the big issues of our time – environmental collapse, global justice and poverty – we need to be smart, organised and creative. This is what they do so well, and why I love supporting them!’
Steve Halpin, one of our treasured supporters
